THREE STRANGE KARAOKES

This weird karaoke catalogue consists of television theme songs, misheard lyrics and iconic movie scenes. Perhaps you’d like to show off your skills with the Narcos theme or sound out one of the many instrumental themes such as Game of Thrones or X-files? Or voice act iconic scenes from The Room, Blade Runner or The Exorcist? Tonight wrong lyrics are correct ones, as you can sing how Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese and I just died in your arse tonight.

LIVE PERFORMANCES

NIKITA TITOV
Goofy pop, goth vibes, alternative rock… Nikita Titov is a musician from Helsinki who draws from indie rock and chamber pop, and asks if you believe in Devil worshippers. Pop tunes from past decades are mixed with dreamy and catchy melodies.

RUISSALO AMPING
So wonderfully loud and so wonderful in itself. Ruissalo Amping is beautiful music from Turku. The sound of the new shoegaze band is romantic thunder, shy vocals and the roar of the world’s most beautiful instrument, the electric guitar, drowned in the echo.

PIKKU KUKKA
Pikku Kukka, which has spent a long time in silence, brings with it a perfectly suitable combination of nostalgic romantic pop, folk prog and touching songs. The music and poetic lyrics oozing quiet power captivate the listener.

ORVOKKI
When an emotion is hard to describe, it can be turned into music. Orvokki’s music is collagelike, with elements of world music, unusual structures and rhythmic surprises intertwining into an electrically pulsating dream.

BRIAN
Playing modern ironic punk or punk parody, Brian (formerly Brian & Helvetin Peruna) combines seemingly inappropriate pieces into a seamless whole. The band, known for its deadly catchy choruses, hits the live audience with a bang!

The age limit for the event is K-18. Kupla has a bar where you can buy alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments. All payments by card only. All of Kumma’s drink and food products are vegan. The event’s main space is accessible.
