Both metro lines stop in Tapiola. One of the lines runs on the route Matinkylä–Vuosaari and the other on the route Tapiola–Mellunmäki.
The metro station has an internal connection to the shopping center AINOA. The route is signposted, and the easiest way to travel is through platforms 1–7 of the Tapiola bus terminal located on the M level of AINOA. The walk from the exits on the second floor of AINOA to the cultural square and Kupla is about 300 meters.
All bus lines passing through Tapiola or terminating there use the bus terminal, which is located on Merituulentie on the M level of shopping center AINOA.
