KRONONAUT, Mahla, and Louhos
At the end of September, three instrumental music bands will perform at Espoo Cultural Center’s Kupla venue. Jazz, prog, and experimental rock fans will find plenty to marvel at when KRONONAUT, Mahla, and Louhos take the stage.
KRONONAUT
Founded in 2022, KRONONAUT is a four-member instrumental rock band from Helsinki, combining modern soundscapes, powerful guitar work, and diverse groove thinking in their music. Their debut album ”Sands of Time” was released in fall 2023. For their fall 2024 gigs, the band’s sound will be enriched by saxophonist Waltteri Von Hyvinge.

”If you take the time to sit down and really listen to the intricate work of the guitar, keyboards, and rhythm section, you can literally feel the grains of sand in your hands and sense the presence of something greater. This is rock, but rock in its spirit is boundless joy.”
-Mika Roth, Desibeli
Mahla
Mahla takes the listener on a hypnotic journey deep into the subconscious. Ethereal melodies and electric intensity paint a mysterious landscape. Mahla consists of Kare, Aapo, and Remu.
